SIRE: EH LATIMER who was a highly decorated dressage horse. He was won the Trakehner Championships and the prestigious Bundeschampionat, scoring the highest total score ever recorded at that time, receiving 10s for conformation and rideability.  He won the bronze at the 2007 German Young Riders Championships with Theresa Wahler and finished 4th in the kur to music at the 2008 German Championships.  He has several approved sons in both the Trakehner and Hanoverian breed societies Illux, Karolinger I+II, Immenhof, Finckenstein, and Hibiskus and Latimer's daughters belong to the highest scoring mares in the Verband stud books. He was considered to be a true upgrader.  He was proclaimed Elite Stallion by the German Trakehner Verband in 2005 and tragically died unexpectedly on 3rd December 2009.

GRANDSIRE: Reserve champion in 1990, SAINT CLOUD (by Neuquen xx) passed his 100 day test as 2nd of his group in Munich, winning the ridability score with 154 points. His foals qualified for the National Foal Championships and out of his first foal crop resulted the approved Bellheim and the Hanoverian Sole Mio. His second crop saw the dark bay Liebestraum as a premium stallion, who later had a stellar dressage career until a terrible accident ended his life much too early. In 1998, his black son Latimer was approved and received premium. Also approved were the Saint Cloud sons Eloquent and Manhatten. In his very first season at Grand Prix he won and placed at some of the countries toughest international shows. Among his get in competition, the international CCI**** eventer Salino TSF stands out most.

SIRE DAM: LARA XII by EH Caprimond, Stallion of the Year in 1998, is also successful at Grand Prix and has been a great "improver" as a dressage horse sire. EH Caprimond was named Stallion of the Century by the Hanoverian Verband. Lara was a I-a champion mare at the state show and is the half-sister of the stallion Liebestraum.

SIREGRANDDAM: LARISSA, with her daughters Lara and Lorina, were the winning mare family of the State Show. Larissa is by EH Socrates.

DAMSIRE: ELAN xx the black bay Thoroughbred stallion by the famous WIESENKLEE xx, a stallion who twice finished the world‘s hardest steeplechase at Pardubice. Elan‘s dam was ELISABETH xx by Vandale xx. Elan is a direct descendant of the famous PHALARIS xx, foundation stallion of the world‘s leading Thoroughbred line that is especially known for NEARCO xx and his grandson NORTHERN DANCER xx. Wiesenklee xx was a grandson of Nearco xx, which makes him interesting not only as a racehorse but also as a stallion. Elan xx was foaled in 1973 as a German Thoroughbred at the Czech National stud in Napajedla. He was sold to the Netherlands as a colt and raced 27 times with 8 wins and 14 placings. Later, his potential as an open jumper surfaced, and Elan‘s second career as an advanced level jumper began. At that time, he was approved by the KWPN (Dutch Warmbloods) and soon was known as the sire of beautiful horses with great rideability and very good gaits. His son EX LIBRIS, a dark bay Grand Prix dressage horse, produces one outstanding horse after the other such as the National Champion EXUPERY.In 1990, Elan xx was imported to Germany and was stationed in Baden-Württemberg and was soon accepted by this registry as well as the Trakehner Verband and was the winner of the 100-Day stallion Performance Test in Medingen, Germany, in 1991. As if this wasn‘t enough, at the high age of 17 years, Elan began his training as an upper level dressage horse and competed successfully in this discipline in Germany.

DAMGRANDDAM: TROPE is a typical daughter of her famous sire Mahagoni, with extraordinary type and outstanding movement. This small bay mare has so far produced nine foals; she was bred back to CHARLY CHAPLIN for 2001. Among her daughters is the elegant chestnut TROPIC SUN by Ferrum who had five foals by ELAN xx, all of them special in their own way. Two, TROPIC FIRE (now known as THE BOUNCER), foaled in 1996, and TROUVERE, foaled in 1999, were accepted for Neumünster as stallion prospects, another was sold at the elite auction in Medingen and her only daughter, TROPIC LEAF, is now keeping up that important branch in the stud.
